SECAC 2023 Juried Exhibition Call
The SECAC 2023 Juried Exhibition is now accepting submissions, through Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 11:59 pm ET. Held in conjunction with the 2023 SECAC conference but open to all, the Juried Exhibition will be judged by guest juror Alexis Assam, Reginia A. Perry Assistant Curator of Global Contemporary Art at the Virginia Museum of Fine Art. The 2023 SECAC Juried Exhibition will be hosted by VCUarts at Try-Me, a restored industrial space in Richmond’s uptown arts district, in Richmond, VA, which will run concurrently with the conference. The 2023 Juried Exhibition fee has been waived for all entries.

Note on Juried Exhibition submissions: You may submit up to three entries, but they will be separate submissions. On your first entry, when you have successfully completed all required fields above, select "Add to Cart." You will see a "Check Out" page, and then a confirmation page. Reminder, there is no fee, but you do need to finalize and check out with each entry. After the first entry is complete, go to your Completed submissions in the left menu, and "Copy" the first juried exhibition submission for the second and third entries. Be sure to change the necessary information (image, title, medium, dimensions, etc.) as needed before you save and "Add to cart." Check out and finalize for each entry. You will receive separate confirmation emails for each entry.
